Dieses Licht, das pl\u00f6tzlich alles \u00fcberschwemmt, das hereindr\u00e4ngt und sich an die Stelle der Szene setzen will … Viele erz\u00e4hlen vom Eintritt in ein wei\u00dfes Reich nach dem Leben, in dem das Licht jedoch weder blendet noch bedr\u00e4ngt, eher wie ein warmes Medium ist, in dem man sich wohl f\u00fchlt wie nie zuvor. <\/p>\n

Derek Walcott, der Dichter der Karibik, f\u00e4ngt in Wei\u00dfe Reiher<\/em> ein Gedicht so an:<\/p>\n

Als das Licht auf das Buschwerk fiel hinter Soufri\u00e8re,<\/em>
\nhielt es Ordnung, benannte, worauf es fiel \u2014<\/em>
\nMombinpflaume und Zaboca, Taro, Tannia und Melone …<\/em><\/p>\n

Wir hielten ein auf unserer Fahrt, benommen<\/em>
\ndurch Vollkommenheit, von selbst gestaltet wie das Licht.<\/em><\/p>\n
