Ein Aufstieg bis auf 450 Meter mit F\u00fchrer ist m\u00f6glich, um nach Sonnenuntergang Eruptionen beobachten zu k\u00f6nnen, die alle 20 bis 30 Minuten stattfinden. Das wollten wir sehen! Leider geht so sp\u00e4t kein Schiff mehr zur\u00fcck nach Panarea, also quartierten wir uns auf der Insel im Hotel La Sirenetta ein.\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Treffpunkt war 16.30 Uhr vor der Pizzeria in der Hauptstadt mit ihren vielleicht 550 Einwohnern. Heute nennt man die Hauptstadt wie die Insel und seinen Vulkan. Um 17 Uhr ging es los, auf Pfaden hinauf zu einem Rastplatz mit Blick zu den Kratern und hinunter aufs Meer. Es war 19 Uhr geworden, die Sonne schickte sich an, unterzugehen, und das Meer schimmerte silbern und war grenzenlos. Da hinunter str\u00f6mt die Lava, wenn es ernst wird, und am 11. September 1930 kam es zu einem starken Ausbruch mit Tsunami. Sogar noch 2007 und 2014 str\u00f6mte Lava die Sciara del Fuoco hinab. Am Tag kann man Rauchwolken \u00fcber dem Stromboli auch aus der Ferne sehen, und oft raucht es aus zwei der drei Kratern.<\/p>\n<p>In er Nacht erst wirken die Rauchwolken bedrohlich, und man h\u00f6rt es krachen und fauchen.
