Viele kleine Fische tummelten sich darin.<\/p>\n<p>Im Althebr\u00e4ischen \u2014 die Sprache des Alten Testaments \u2014 gibt es drei grundlegende Buchstaben, die <em>Mutter-Buchstaben<\/em> genannt werden. Da ist Aleph f\u00fcr den Wind, Mem f\u00fcr das Wasser und Shin f\u00fcr das Feuer; die Erde ist selbstverst\u00e4ndlich. Wasser ist mayim, der Himmel Sha-mayim, etwa \u00bbfeuriges Wasser\u00ab. Mem sieht als Schlusszeichen etwas anders aus und steht f\u00fcr die unmanifestierte Mutter, und yam, das Meer, ist ein Symbol f\u00fcr das Absolute; es besteht aus Jod und dem Schluss-Mem. Alles kam aus dem Meer, \u00fcber dem Gottes Geist schwebte, und das Feuer wandelte um, schenkte Leben. In der Maya-Bibel Popol Vuh hei\u00dft es:<\/p>\n<p><em>Da war nur das ruhige Meer und die Ausdehnung des Raums. Hier wurde nichts zusammengebracht, nichts, was ein Ger\u00e4usch erzeugen k\u00f6nnte, weder etwas, das sich bewegen oder zittern konnte noch etwas, das im Raum summte. &#8230; Nichts existierte. Es gab nur Reglosigkeit und Stille in der Dunkelheit, in der Nacht. Nur der Sch\u00f6pfer, der Macher, Tepeu, Gucumatz, die Vorv\u00e4ter, waren im Wasser, umgeben von Licht.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Der Geologe James Hutton fuhr einmal die K\u00fcste entlang und hatte eine Eingebung: Die Welt war nicht nur 6000 Jahre alt! Durch vulkanische Aktivit\u00e4t wurden Steine hochgeschleudert, die steinalt sind, und es gibt stets Bewegung im Erdinneren.<\/p>\n<p>Unser Stromboli-F\u00fchrer Giovanni erkl\u00e4rt Kindern manchmal, da l\u00e4gen Steine, die j\u00fcnger seien als sie: gerade entstanden durch den Vulkan. Und gleichzeitig gibt es hunderttausend Jahre alte Steine. Feuer und Wasser. Im Erdinneren kocht es.<\/p>\n<p>Vergessen wir bei all dem nicht, dass wir mit unserer Lebenskraft und unserer Energie (in uns kocht es auch!) viel Wasser brauchen. Jeder Mensch ist eine Kleinausgabe des Erdballs und besteht aus 70 Prozent Wasser. Auf jede der \u00c4olischen Inseln kommt einmal in der Woche ein Tankschiff mit Wasser, das teuer ist und sparsam verwendet werden soll, den auf den Inseln gibt es keine S\u00fc\u00dfwasserquellen. Sie liegen alle im Waser und d\u00fcrsten doch.
