Seit zwei Wochen lerne ich Suaheli, und in der Tukolere Zeitung \u2014 herausgegeben vom Hilfsverein Tukolere Wamu, Heitersheim \u2014 las ich Neues \u00fcber Uganda, was in unseren Zeitungen nicht steht. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Gertrud Schweizer-Ehrler, die Pr\u00e4sidentin des Vereins, hat einige Fakten unter dem Titel <em>In Afrika tut sich was &#8230;<\/em> zusammengefasst.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/30288104-kampala-hauptstadt-von-uganda-2zjgfTWkJmea.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-31817\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-31817\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/30288104-kampala-hauptstadt-von-uganda-2zjgfTWkJmea-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"30288104-kampala-hauptstadt-von-uganda-2zjgfTWkJmea\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/30288104-kampala-hauptstadt-von-uganda-2zjgfTWkJmea-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/30288104-kampala-hauptstadt-von-uganda-2zjgfTWkJmea-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/30288104-kampala-hauptstadt-von-uganda-2zjgfTWkJmea-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Uganda, etwa so gro\u00df wie Deutschland und mit der H\u00e4lfte unserer Bev\u00f6lkerung (46 Millionen), nahm aus dem S\u00fcdsudan und Kongo 1,6 Millionen Fl\u00fcchtlinge auf. Jeder erhielt ein St\u00fcck Land der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe 30 auf 30 Meter, auf die er\/sie ein Haus stellen und auf dem er\/sie Gem\u00fcse anbauen darf.<\/p>\n<p>In den n\u00e4chsten 5 Jahren will das ostafrikanische Land 140.000 Elektromotorr\u00e4der anschaffen. Sie werden kostenlos abgegeben; Geld kommt herein durch das Laden der Batterien sowie durch deren Austausch.<\/p>\n<p>Der Pr\u00e4sident hei\u00dft seit 1986 Yoweri Museveni. Mit Jessica Alupo ist eine Frau Vizepr\u00e4sidentin, und die Premierministerin hei\u00dft Robinah Nabbanja. Uganda hat 80 Minister, das ist eine ungew\u00f6hnlich hohe Zahl, und 28 von ihnen sind Frauen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0155.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-31818\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-31818\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0155-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0155\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0155-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0155.jpg 699w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Uganda besitzt weltweit die h\u00f6chste Prozentzahl an Unternehmern (28 Prozent; in den meisten L\u00e4ndern sind es 5 Prozent). Seit Jahren ist es \u00fcblich, mit dem Handy Geld zu \u00fcberweisen.<\/p>\n<p>Das Gesundheitssystem w\u00e4chst wie in unseren westlichen L\u00e4ndern stetig. In den vergangenen 10 Jahren vervierfachte sich das nationale Gesundheitsbudget. Vor 20 Jahren lag die durchschnittliche Lebenserwartung bei 49 Jahren, nun liegt sie bei 63. Die Gesundheitsministerin ist Kinder\u00e4rztin, ihr Staatssekret\u00e4r selber Arzt.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Ekutt, Missionar im Kongo, schrieb in dem Heft \u00fcber Religion und mahnte:<\/p>\n<p><em>Die Kirche ist aufgerufen, sich st\u00e4rker in konkrete Fragen des sozialen Lebens einzubringen und insbesondere den Menschen zu helfen, aus dem Schlaf aufzuwachen, der unsere Verantwortung vor Gott verdeckt. &#8230; Lasst uns beten, aber lasst uns auch unsere Rolle bei der Entwicklung unserer Gesellschaft spielen. Gott wird es nicht f\u00fcr uns tun, aber er kann uns helfen.
