Das musste ich mal wieder versuchen. Die Touristen mieten sich kleine wei\u00dfe Autos, zu Tausenden, oder diese grauenhaft l\u00e4rmenden Quads. Im August gibt es viele Staus auf den Stra\u00dfen. Fast st\u00fcndlich landet eine Maschine\u00a0 auf dem Flughafen der Insel, und vor Fira ankern regelm\u00e4\u00dfig drei bis f\u00fcnf Kreuzfahrtschiffe, und kleine Boote bringen so t\u00e4glich an die 5000 Menschen an Land. Zu Hunderten fluten Italiener, Spanier, \u00f6sterreicher und Deutsche die Gassen von Oia und pressen sich hindurch, um zum Sunset Boulevard zu kommen, denn der Sonnenuntergang von Santorini ist ein Hit bei den Social Media. Auf dem ber\u00fchmten Balkon von Oia stehen dichtgedr\u00e4ngt tausend Menschen und warten und fotografieren, dann quetschen sie sich durch die Gassen wieder zur\u00fcck. Es ist grotesk!<\/p>\n<p>Santorini hat eineinhalb Millionen Touristen am Tag (regul\u00e4re Einwohner: 23.000), baut aber unverdrossen immer weiter Hotels. Das Wasser muss importiert werden. Fira ist eine Ansammlung von Touristenl\u00e4den mit einer Million M\u00fctzen und Klamotten, mit Schmuckst\u00fccken und viel Krempel. Ein Gastwirt mit sch\u00f6ner Terrasse verlangt 15 Euro f\u00fcr einen Eiskaffee, ganz sch\u00f6n unversch\u00e4mt.
