Es fehlt uns an der Vorstellungskraft, die Siedlung uns intakt zu denken mit Menschen darum und darin; hier oben bl\u00e4st nur der Wind \u00fcber den Stein, und steil geht es hinab zum Meer, an zwei Seiten. Welche sch\u00f6ne Aussicht sie doch hatten, die Bewohner des alten Thera! \u2014 Noch ein Beitrag \u00fcber das sch\u00f6ne Santorini. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Das alte Thera wurde etwa 900 vor Christus besiedelt und um 700 unserer Zeit aufgegeben. Zwar f\u00fchlte man sich oben vor Angreifern sicher, doch angenehmer war es, unten an der K\u00fcste zu hausen. Welche Anstrengung es die Menschen vor 3000 Jahren gekostet haben wird, die Steine hochzuschleppen auf 350 Meter \u00fcber dem Meer! Der ganze H\u00fcgel ist bedeckt, da werden ein paar hundert Menschen gelebt haben. Sie hatten eine Ritualst\u00e4tte, einen Versammlungsplatz und viele kleine H\u00e4user.
