Es befindet sich auf dem Cimeti\u00e8re des Rois in Genf. Auf demselben Friedhof wurde unweit davon ein Mahnmal f\u00fcr Robert Musil (1880-1942) aufgestellt, der den <em>Mann ohne Eigenschaften<\/em> geschrieben hat, meinen Lieblingsroman. Beide verbrachten ihre letzten Jahre in Genf.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0293.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-9384\" title=\"029\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0293-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0373.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9385\" title=\"037\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0373-229x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"229\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0373-229x300.jpg 229w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0373.jpg 540w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 229px) 100vw, 229px\" \/><\/a>Auf einem anderen Genfer Friedhof: das Grab von\u00a0 Ferdi-<br \/>\nnand Hodler, den Maler aus Bern, hier links. Er lebte von 1853 bis 1918. Das Grab des \u00d6sterreichers Oskar Kokoschka (1886-1980) jedoch muss man in Clarens bei Montreux suchen, genau am entgegengesetzten Ende des Sees, im Osten (passend ist hier das Bild rechts). Genf liegt an der linken See-Ecke, Montreux an der rechten. Die 80 Kilometer machte ich in einer leichten Tagesetappe.<\/p>\n<p>Auf demselben Friedhof das Grab f\u00fcr Vladimir Nabokov (1899-1977) und seine Frau Vera, die 15 Jahre lang in einem Hotel Atlantic in Montreux gelebt hatten.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/039.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9386\" title=\"039\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/039.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/039.jpg 540w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/039-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>10 Kilometer weiter am See entlang f\u00fchrt uns der Weg zu zwei nahe gelegenen Friedh\u00f6fen, die man leicht verwechseln kann. In Corsier Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977) und Frau Oona, in Corseaux der englische Schriftsteller Graham Greene (1904-1991), die in Vevey lebten und auch befreundet waren.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/046.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9388\" title=\"046\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/046.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/046.jpg 540w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/046-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0432.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9387\" title=\"043\" src=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0432.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0432.jpg 540w, https:\/\/manipogo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/0432-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Im <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charlie_Chaplin\" target=\"_blank\">Wikipedia-Eintrag \u00fcber Charlie Chaplin<\/a> steht ein Bericht von Oona \u00fcber die geplante L\u00f6segeldzahlung, da Chaplins Sarg entf\u00fchrt worden war.
